Biography

Jeremiah Allen Freedman is an American artist who is member of the band The Neighbourhood. He is one of the band’s two guitarists, as well as a background vocalist.

Jeremy is a guitarist and background singer for the rock band The Neighbourhood who are best known for their debut album I Love You.. Freedman and his fellow band members came together in 2011, he and the band released their debut extended play (EP) I’m Sorry…in May of 2012.

The album featured their hit single Sweater Weather, which reached #1 on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart.

Zachary Shane Abels is an American artist who is a member of the band The Neighbourhood. He is one of the band’s two guitarists.

Biography

Jesse James Rutherford (Newbury Park, California, United States, August 21, 1991) is an American singer and actor, best known for being the lead singer and leader of the band The Neighborhood.

Beginning

Jesse participated in commercials and talent shows as a child, coming to personify in some of them Elvis Presley and N’Sync. In addition, he had a small role as the character of Q’Ell in the Marauders episode of the series Star Trek: Enterprise.

In 2002, he joined his participation in the movie Seven Days and a Life, where he played Tommy, son of Pete (Edward Burns). That same year is part of the film Ted Bundy, while in 2003 he acted as an extra in the movie Dickie Roberts: Ex-child prodigy.

In 2015 Jesse started a relationship with Devon Lee Carlson who is an American model and youtuber . They were friend before starting their relationship.

He made imitations of Elvis Presley and NSYNC in different talent shows.

In early 2011, Jesse released “Truth hurts, truth heals”, his first solo mixtape, where he demonstrates his skills as a rapper, as he did in simultaneous with The Good Boys, the duo he was part of. In August of that same year, he forms along with guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, drummer Bryan Sammis and bassist Mikey Margott, The Neighborhood

In October 2017, Rutherford publishes his single “Born to be Blonde” on his official YouTube account 1 after that Jesse released his first music album &. In 2019 Jesse released his new album Garageb&.

The Neighbourhood (Nbhd) is an American alternative music band from Newbury Park, California, It was created by Jesse Rutherford on 2011 with some of his friends, before The Nbhd Jesse was an actor and singer too, They realised 3 EPs in 3 years, I’m Sorry…, The Love Collection and Thank You. After that they published their first studio album called I Love You with the single Sweater Weather, a song which had a platinum certificate.
They collaborated with a lot of rapers for his second album #000000 y #ffffff (Black and White) (2014), on 2015 they realised their 2nd studio album called Wiped Out! considered their best album, without a parental advisory, album with hits like Daddy Issues, Cry Baby and R.I.P 2 My Youth, Wiped Out! was produced by Justyn Pilbrow and 4e; “R.I.P 2 My Youth” produced by Justyn Pilbrow and Benny Blanco with additional productions by 4e.

The Neighbourhood had a great change on 2018, because they realised Hard to Imagine The Neighbourhood Ever Changing, their third studio album with a principal characteristic, they included colour in the videos and the pictures.

After their Latin American tour on 2019, they publish another EP called Middle of Somewhere, following the colour change. Jesse changed his appearance painting his body with grey colour, he called himself “chipchrome” playing an acoustic guitar.

Characteristics

The Nbhd is known for its images and videos in black and white, they had used the black and white filter since 2011, but in 2017 they decided to change the colour with their third album Hard to Image The Neighbourhood Ever Changing.
The band rosed to fame with their song Sweater Weather from the album I Love You in 2013, nominated for the World Music Award of that year.
Bryan Sammis was the drummer of the band since 2011 but he was not conformed with his role, because he knew how to play a lot of instruments like guitar, bass, drums, etc. Also he was a very good singer; for that reason he was the second vocalist of the band but he didn’t like to be a drummer, People say that he had a rivalry with Jesse. On 2014 Bryan decided to leave the band and become a solo singer called Olivver the Kid (OV).
The same year Brandon Fried became the drummer of the band replacing Bryan in the drums and Jeremy replaced him being the second singer of The Neighbourhood.
